It's my Lola Guadalupe Rabe Ruiz Balares' second death anniversary. I miss her, everybody is missing her. Who would not remember this super kind, gentle and loving grandmother all of us forever have. She may have left us physically but her thoughts as the best mother remains in our hearts will we will forever hold it inside.

Git a free key holder from Suarez where I bought my professional ring. But I'm not using is for my keys because I already have one from SG. A token given by my sister who went there for her OJT at Sentosa.

The ring that symbolizes success. I am wearing it now in my ring finger. I love seeing this ring for it reminds me the fruit of my labor when in college. That was tough and I thought if it will happen again, I am not sure anymore if I can surpass all the barriers to reach the top. Well, I maybe feeling that because I am now old and can't bear the hardship like that in my younger age anymore.

New year is not over yet.Fruits were consumed and here is a new set of fruit for life. Banana, apple and mango are what we crave for too after the fruit eating on January 1. But all were already consumed. Here is a replacement. Fresh and light. Yellow, I mean.Behind is the parade of foods and beverages given by a relative from abroad. The nutella, apple tea, coffee and the honey. The novellino wine was a gift but not consumed yet because we have the maria clara.

Perfect combination for a rainy day. No shopping, no morning walk, no gardening outside. So, these would be my great buddies today.
  
I got one and dropped it to the boiling porridge.

Kettle Korn

 This girl loves cheese and she's trying this Kettle Korn. It is a cheese flavored pop corn,  so that's the reason why she was attracted to it. I never thought she'd like it. Well, the attractive color made her wanting to grasp it.
 
It's a strange thing, she may have thought.

My Ugly Gibi Shoes

Gibi black school shoes. Yes it is but it looks like I was walking along the paddy. Rain, rain, rain, go away!I was singing. But this most abused shoes of mine is sole friendly. That's why I love this one especially when it rains. Ahaha! Yes, because my feet won't get wet.It won't absorb water from the outside too.

All Souls Day

It's Sunday and I wanted to visit mom in the cemetery but because I am baby sitting our little Tara. I was able to do it very late already. It's almost evening when I went there. Her place was already very congested. I thought of looking for another place for her to place. In the private cemetery I guess. I tried to inquire about the plains and luckily got one on sale. But I can't move mom right away unless I will be able to pay the whole amount in full.

Bohol Quake that Affect Cebu

The want to submit my research project has been put aside due to the earthquake that hit Bohol and that affect Cebu too. My papers are ready but I do not have the courage to go to school because it has been slightly damaged too. Wish these after shocks will stop so that everything will be back to normal. I am afraid, kids are afraid, many are afraid of the continuous shaking of the ground. May God help us and save us from all dangers today and forever. Amen.

Reflection

Last school year was my first year in service at Don Andres Soriano National High School (a government school). The experience I had was quite different when I was still in Consolatrix College (a private sectarian school). I was about 8 years serving the school but moving on to another venture in life calls. March 31, 2009 was the effectivity of my resignation. I waited for about five months before I was hired. It was indeed a very memorable day for me, September 11, 2009. The day the HR have told me about the good news. On that day I also met the principal of the school where I will be serving. Briefing and orientation was done and I prepared all the things needed.

My first day was quite tough. My first observation was the students unlawful behavior. One section have really shown their unacceptable attitude. My first day was just a mere observation with a bit of my rules and regulations and classroom policies agreed by them.

I really couldn't help but compare this present situation from the past. From a sectarian school with respectful and friendly students to this undefined one. But I have no choice. I need to face the reality because this is what I dreamed of. To be in a government school.

Another adjustment I need to take is to wake up very early in the morning since I need to catch the bus at 6:30 A.M. of else I will be late. It takes 30 minutes from my place to the school. It is not that easy for me in the first few weeks since the usual was only an 8 minutes walk or 3 minutes ride by our motorcycle.

Yahoo Mail Issue

When I opened my yahoo mail today, I found out that its setting is the mail plus. It's been a long time when I am using the mail classic. It's more comfortable to use compared to mail plus. I did not revert mail classic to mail plus. Why did it happen? It's the mail plus that appeared just recently.

Another issue here is that, my contacts were gone. Not even one in my address book is left. I wonder if someone has opened my account and refresh my page or yahoo itself did it. (?)

Three Years

Today marks my third year anniversary with the Department of Education. I can now already apply for Teacher III. I will be allowed to jump over Teacher II because I was able to finish the academic subjects of my Course. Master in technician Education major in Drafting. Requirements are only few but needs to be given time of in order to complete it. Thank God for another gift He has given to me.

Below is the easiest drill for beginners. Correct position of the hands on the keyboard is shown. With curiosity I tried it because every time the students perform the said activity they always seem to be very excited especially if they can get a high rate on speed and accuracy.
The second level is for Intermediate. I chose Easy Phrases and Clauses. After typing the suggested text below, "a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs" I got my score! The Best W. P. M. or word per minute is 52. :-)

Blogging Confusions

Ooohhhhhh where do I go from here?! Hmmm you know what, I am so confused now which blog do I need to continue. I find a hard time choosing among the number of blogs I made. Even templates, I could not stick to one! Until if it's back to minima if you have noticed.

Now I am trying to remove others so I can focused to one and stick to this one! I hope so :-) I will just forget the effort and the time I spent doing and embellishing my other blogs. Anyway , I learned a lot of things from those activities. I want to start all over again.
